History

Only in the land of opportunity could a story like this be true.

In 1914 all of the Native Armenian people were forced to flee their country at the threat of ethnic cleansing, and Charles and Henry Hollisian fled to America. Both very skilled tinsmiths in their home country, they opened up radiator repair shops. One in Cambridge Mass., and the other in Lewiston Maine. The brothers shortened their names to Hollis and by the 1940s the business in Lewiston was running full steam with Henry Hollis Jr. working along side his Dad.

The current owner of Lewiston Radiator Works, Richard Hollis, was born and raised in the business and continues the family tradition of hands on excellence and an undeniable work ethic.

A bigger and better company stands today , ready to deliver old fashioned quality and excellence not often seen in today’s world.
